12U Blue Baseball - Runner Up at The Rock!

The OCJK 12U Blue team finished off their fall baseball season in great fashion by finishing in 2nd place in the October 11-13 Game Day Tournament held at the new "Rock” in Franklin.     The team played 3 pool play games finishing 2-1 by beating the host team Rock League Baseball 14-6, then beating Lake Villa Force 6-5 in an exciting 6th inning 4 run rally and then losing to Milwaukee Hitmen 11-1.     The team got into the Sunday single elimination tournament as the 3 seed and avenged an earlier 11-1 loss to the Hitmen by beating them 7-4 behind a brilliant complete game pitching performance by Andrew Zakula and timely hitting by Aden Waltersdorf and Nate Smith.   The team eventually lost to the #1 seed Green Bay Sluggers 11-1 in the championship.     Excellent finish for the team and a final 10-5 season in fall ball.

Oak Creek Junior Knights Baseball & Softball Program Explanation

It is the mission of the Oak Creek Junior Knights (OCJK) to develop skilled and passionate baseball & softball players who conduct themselves with integrity and respect, represent the Oak Creek community in a positive manner and become leaders on and off the field.  It is also the goal of the program to serve the community by providing talented, prepared athletes who will be an asset to the high school program.

OCJK will be a competitive baseball & fast pitch softball program available for all OCLL players to try out for after each OCLL season.

OCJK will provide the selected OCLL players an opportunity to play more games at a higher and more competitive level.

The goal of OCJK is to provide a team for every child who has the commitment and physical ability to be a successful competitive player

OCJK is to be governed by a subcommittee of the Oak Creek Little League Board of Directors.

OCJK will be cosponsored by Oak Creek Little League but the expenses will funded by separate player costs and fundraisers.

OCJK teams will be representing Oak Creek Little League and the city of Oak Creek.  Managers, coaches, players, & families will be required to exhibit good sportsmanship in the host city for all tournaments and games.
